Here are the easy-to-follow steps, for LinkedIn mobile applications. Read along in case you’re on your desktop. 

Step 1: Open your LinkedIn Application on your smartphone

Step 2: Now hit on your “Profile Picture” located on the left-hand-side upper corner

Step 3: Now click on your “Name

Step 4: Now you are into your LinkedIn profile, now simply click on your “Profile Picture”

Step 5: You will see three options now, click on “Add Frame”

Step 6: This will open three options for you, now click on the “OpenToWork” frame and click on “Apply”

Step 7: You will be asked to fill in a few details about your preferred job, fill in the details and click on “Add To Profile”📲. This will add the OpenToWork badge to your LinkedIn profile.

To perform the same steps on your Desktop instead of your Mobile application follow the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: Login into your LinkedIn account through a desktop computer.

Step 3: This will take you inside your profile, now simply click on your profile picture

Step 4: Now select “Frames” which will give you three options, select OpenToWork and hit “Apply”

Step 5: Fill in all the details and click on “Add To Profile”. 👨🏽‍💻

Through this, you would be visible as a candidate who is open to working for your qualification. Linkedin has updated another feature to this where you as a user can decide who should be the audience.

How to create an account on LinkedIn

Step 1: Click on https://www.linkedin.com/login, here you will find the option to sign up / log in. Since you are new to LinkedIn click on the join now.

Before moving on to the next step, make sure you enter your details correctly and professionally. Avoid including names that are included on your official records. 

Step 2:  You are required to fill in your details including first name, last name, surname, date of birth, and address. 

Step 3: Enter your mail id, and ensure it is working as you may need to verify it. 

Verifying and linking your maid id to your LinkedIn help your connections to connect with you easier. 

Step 4: you may add a photo if required in the next step, or you can also add a google profile picture to your LinkedIn account. 

Step 5:  As a new user LinkedIn offers a one-month premium subscription which provides additional service benefits.

LinkedIn has provided options where you can remove the open work banner from your profile picture at any time. All you have to do is follow these easy-to-follow steps:

Step 1: log in to your account, and click on me which is available on the top right corner of your LinkedIn page.

Step 2: Click on view profile, now click on the open to work option which is a dropdown box. 

Step 3: Click on Delete from profile, and click on save.

Now your banner is removed from your profile. 

It is also possible that you have forgotten to remove the banner, LinkedIn AI will deduct it when you have stopped responding to recruiters’ emails, and a notification would be sent to remind you that you have opted openly to work on your profile
