Most brands around the world don’t really have a Global footprint while they might have a prominent customer base in the home country.
There are brands that either has stopped manufacturing smartphones or don’t have a huge business in the same. For instance, brands like Blackberry which was one of the biggest brands in the Phone industry have completely lost the battle due to lack of innovation and not taking android seriously.
Phillips got their hands dirty in the smartphone industry too but failed, most of the brands we see today are from a handful of countries like China, USA, Taiwan, etc, who are relevant in the global market.
Brands like Blackberry, Micromax, etc, are trying to get into the game ones again now we all can just wait and watch what the future holds for these brands.
Chinese brands have literally gone too deep in the smartphone market around the globe. Chinese brands hold more than 70% of the Indian Smartphone market as of 2020 and trying to get similar kind of hold in other electronics markets as well, as the TV market for example, here are some of the non-Chinese tv brands.
