Being a Windows user for years, when I got myself a MacBook, I was pretty happy with the out-of-the-box audio experience when I compare my experience with my old Windows Machine.
Macs usually have pretty solid-sounding speakers out-of-the-box, but when I tried Boom3D on my Mac I had a whole different experience with the speakers.
In this article I will talk about my experience with Boom3D, I have been using the software on my Mac for a week now and I will try to cover everything that I thought of the software.
What Is Boom3D?
Boom3D is a software developed by Global Delight. Boom3D is an audio enhancer that is available for your Macs, Windows, Androids, and iPhones.
Like the name of the software suggests Boom3D is heavily focused on giving you a 3D experience for your audio experience with your devices.
Some of the Top Features of Boom3D are as follows:
1. 3D Surround Sound
2. Advance Equalizer
3. System-Wide Volume Booster
4. Carry Great Audio Experience Cross-Device
5. A Ton Of Available Presets
Now that we have a basic understanding of what the software does, let’s have a look at my experience with the software that I’ve had to chance to use for a week now.
Quality of Audio With Boom3D is Improved Drastically
After being a windows user for such a long time I was pretty impressed with my MacBook’s audio, but soon after I tried Boom3D I was shocked that the existing hardware had so much more than what it offers currently.
I just used a few presets and saw the change in the sound experience and it’s pretty hard to go back to my out-of-the-box sound experience on my Mac.
The presets that the software offers will cover most scenarios from Gameplay to just Vocals, maybe for online meetings.
Great Equalizer Presets
I’m someone who can’t customize an Equalizer to my taste as I’m not familiar with it. So, I had to use some of presets that it offers to see if I like anything.
To my surprise, I liked some of the presets which cover my scenarios and listening taste. If you are like me, you can rest assured you won’t have to play around with the equalizer and still get a great sound experience.
If you are a sound guy, you can for sure play around with the equalizer to create sound profiles as per your liking. The above-attached picture only shows a few presets, it offers a ton more.
App Volume Controller
I found the App volume controller extremely useful as you don’t want the same kind of volume across your applications.
What this feature does is it will give you options to set different volumes across the applications that you use on a daily basis, for example, a YouTube tab on Google Chrome or your music on Spotify.
Conclusion
So that was my experience with the Boom3d Audion Enhancer, if you are someone who loves to play around with how your devices sound you can sure give Boom3D a try.
If you are a gamer, I’m sure you must have been sick of how your headphones sound by now, give the GamePlay preset a chance and you will be amazed by how far the current hardware can go with Boom3D.
